Started playing Bass at age of 17, various local bands, formed The Planets in 1988, included in line-up ex Billy Karloff and the Extreme’s guitarist Paul Jelliman.  Remained together for 12 years in various forms, gigging in pubs, charity events, and private functions.  Recorded a 12 inch single in ’91 entitled Peruvia sold a thousand copies raising money for a water project in Peru.

Influences include Yes, Van der Graaf Generator, Gabriel/Genesis, Beatles, Pink Floyd, Sting, David Sylvian, Jaco Pastorius, Afrocelts, King Crimson, Eric Clapton, Steely Dan, Focus, The Divine Comedy, and all good music, art, and poetry.
